Introduction to Workplace Harassment & Discrimination HR 170 is designed to provide employees with an overview of workplace sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation. HR 170A is the course's corresponding assessment.
The course focuses on harassment, discrimination and retaliation from the perspective of federal laws and enforcement pursuant to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Learners will learn how to identify and understand the various elements of each of the topics as well as tips for reporting and preventing workplace sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation. HR 171 & HR 171A
California AB 1825/AB 2053 Mandatory Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct Training for Supervisors HR 170 is designed to satisfy the AB 1825/AB 2053 training requirements for California supervisors. This includes providing training related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation and abusive conduct in the workplace. HR 170A is the course's corresponding assessment.
The training is comprehensive, allows learners to progress at their pace, and takes between two to two and one-half hours to complete. Upon completion of the course, learners will be required to complete the HR 270A assessment to demonstrate their understanding of the materials.
