Operations Director

Patio and outdoor furniture company SunNest Services (www.sunjoydirect.com) is seeking an Operations Director for its new facility in Riverside, CA.

The Operation’s Director will be responsible for:

• Coordination of replenishment and inventory management processes, resulting in accuracy and on-time delivery of replenishment orders to warehouse.
  
• Management and optimization of replenishment parameters and ordering constraints to achieve desired service objectives and corporate inventory productivity goals
  
• Planning and execution of seasonal and promotional programs with Category Managers
  
• Optimal product flow
  
• Sales forecasting / order forecasting
  
• Exception reporting and management of KPI’s
  
• Demand modeling for new items
  
• Economic Order Quantity (EOQ)
  
• Monthly/Quarterly item performance evaluations
  
• End-to-end problem resolution and root cause analysis
  
• Other tasks as required
  

Qualified candidates will have the following experience:

• 10+ years warehouse/distribution operations management experience including 5+ years in the senior operations role.
  
• Management of 5+ employees
  
• Working knowledge and expertise in:
  

1. Inventory control and management
   
2. Logistics
   
3. Shipping and receiving
   
4. Replenishment
   
5. Space planning and utilization
   

• Proven success and experience with:
  

1. Sales forecasting
   
2. Order forecasting
   
3. Demand modeling
   
4. Budget planning/P&L management
   
5. Item performance evaluations
   
6. Economic Order Quantity
   
7. Developing and managing KPIs
   
8. Exception reporting
   

• Highly proficient with:
  

1. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
   
2. ERP/MRP
   

• Superior problem and solutions skills
  
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
