Human Resources Administrative Professional Certification Program (HRAP)

Welcome to the HRAP Certification Program! You have chosen to engage an exciting career path and we are excited to provide you with the critical skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in administrative human resources. The following information will provide you with what you need to know to begin your journey.

Overview of the program: The HRAP program consists of 14 courses...12 required courses, 1 elective, and a Comprehensive Assessment. The courses are intended to prepare learners for success in an administrative HR role as well as to introduce them to the skills and knowledge they will need to understand HR's role in the workplace.

To ensure learners have an appropriate understanding of the coursework, all courses must be completed sequentially and must be passed with a minimum score of 80% before learners can move on to the next course. Learners not passing a course with the minimum required score will be able to review the course until they are ready to retake the assessment and achieve the minimum required score.

Upon successful completion of the twelve required courses and one elective, learners will request to enroll in HR 198. At that time, learners will receive an electronic Comprehensive Review Study Guide covering all twelve of the required courses and may begin the assessment when they are ready.

HR 198 consists of 100 questions spanning the twelve required courses and requires a minimum score of 85% to successfully complete the HRAP Certification.

Once the learner has successfully completed all coursework and the comprehensive assessment, and is in good standing*, the learner will receive their HRAP Certificate in the mail within 15 business days of completion.

* To be in 'good standing', the learner must have completed all of the coursework, including the comprehensive assessment, and must have their program costs paid in full.
Upon completion of the HRAP Certification Program, learners will have continued access to all HRAP courses and materials.

  1. The HRAP Professional Certification Program is an online program that requires access to a computer and internet to engage and complete. The learner is solely responsible for their ability to access the program.
  2. The HRAP Professional Certification Program is a self-paced program, thus allowing the learner to proceed at their own pace.
  3. To receive the HRAP Professional Certification, he/she must successfully complete all 12 required courses and 1 elective with a minimum passing score of 80%, the HR 198 Comprehensive Assessment with a minimum passing score of 85%, and must have all program fees paid in full.

  5. Certification is only one part of the employment process, specifically intended to meet the educational requirements for employment in an administrative human resources position. Obtaining employment in human resources, or any other field, also requires successful applications, resumes, interviews, references and background checks...factors independent of the certification and solely reliant upon the learner.
  6.  If a learner drops out of the program prior to successfully completing it, he/she will only be responsible for the individual course fee for each course started. The cost of each individual course is $90.00 and payment must be made no later than 15 calendar days after dropping out of the program. Payments not received within the 15 calendar days period will be subject to a late penalty of 10% of the amount owed.
  7. The course materials are based upon federal HR laws and generally accepted practices at the time taken. Thus, the learner understands that laws change frequently, that state laws may preempt the federal laws and practices, and that they have the sole responsibility to validate whether they are subject to laws preempting those contained in the coursework. The learner also understands and agrees that the practices reflected in the coursework are not the sole and only practices for the specific topics.

  9. If the learner is a minor, thus not achieving the age of 18 years, that the parent or legal guardian of the minor learner, has read and agrees with these terms and that they understand the legal consequences of agreeing to these terms, including the releases set forth in #7 of these terms, and waive their and the minor learner's right to sue, and assume all risk associated with the minor learner's participation in this program.
  10. The learner will be responsible for any and all reasonable costs, including the Business & People Strategy Consulting Group's legal and attorney fees and costs, for collection of program fees and costs due to breach of contract.
  11. If any one or more of the covenants, provision or terms of this Agreement shall be held invalid for any reason, then such covenants, provisions or terms shall be deemed severable from the remaining covenants, provisions, or terms of this Agreement and shall in no way affect the validity or enforcability of the other covenants, provisions or terms.
  12. This Agreement together with the releases herein contained, shall be biding upon an inure the benefit of the heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors in interest, and assignees of the respective parties.
